About Us:

Coprogram Ltd. was developed from company that had previously dealt with the planning and mathematical modeling of larger municipal and regional water supply network for over 30 years. Today, when the application of IT technology is becoming more of a priority in water supply and other infrastructure systems, it has become the primary objective of Coprogram Ltd. The company deals with planning, development and the handling of telemetry, monitoring/detection, and AMR/AMI systems, based on a new 3G(GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA) wireless communication technologies.

Coprogram Ltd. is a company with import permits and certificates for the system  integration of telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leak detection equipment of leading manufactures (InVentia, Sensus, Radio-tech, Relay, etc). The company has its IT center, which is connected with the leading telecommunication operators, other information systems and remote stations of its test telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leaks detection systems. Most of the employees are periodic associates who fulfill their interests by solving a set problem, rather than being permanently present at the workplace. There are more reasons to this than a reduced cost of operations. It would be impossible for a smaller number of permanent employees, with more or less forever the same abilities, to seek and monitor the solutions in telemetry, monitoring/detection and AMR/AMI systems at spatially distributed locations, based on the 3G (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA) communications technology, which is still rapidly changing and improving.  Such solutions are more easily found by versatile teams of specialists whose selection depends on the problem that is being solved, no matter where they are located. Modern IT technology allows for such work organization and there is no reason not to use these features. Therefore, in creating its integrated telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leaks detection system, Coprogram Ltd. involves experts dealing with various system components and specialists from the development departments of leading manufacturers of these equipment.

Such a work organization has enabled the company to develop its test integrated GPRS telemetry, AMR/AMI and monitoring/detection system, where it has integrated, tested and introduced the equipment of most leading manufacturers (InVentia, ABmicro, Siemens, Sensus, RadioTech, Relay, Palmer, etc.) in real-time work. Coprogram Ltd. tests and integrates the samples of equipment estimated as compatible and potentially effective into the integrated system, and offers such a system to its potential end-users as a ready-made solution. If this solution is accepted, the end-users will acquire the equipment from Coprogram Ltd. or any distributor (depending on who has the approval for import and sell this equipment).

Coprogram Ltd. is primarily a systems integrator of specific components of telemetry, AMR/AMI and monitoring/detection equipment, and not a distributor of various equipment. Therefore, it is not a competitor to distributors or dealers. On the contrary, distributors and manufacturers should be interested that there are more integrators of the equipment they produce and distribute. This would allow the end-users to know what to do with this equipment, that successfully integrate it into their IT system and that successfully use it. This would increase the implementation and usage of this equipment, which would positively influence to the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and security of water supply system. The only criterion should be the evidence that the integrator of certain equipment is capable to successfully integrating it (otherwise, everything usually produces only negative publicity for this equipment and its manufacturer).

Coprogram Ltd. demonstrates its ability on the example of its data web portal (www.coprogram.hr/indexCOM.html) which, as the „final product“ of such integrated GPRS telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leaks detection system,  can be freely browsed until the potential users fully understand what they are being offered. Globally renowned authors-editors Robert M. Clark and Simon Hakim have recognized that, not only as the successful solution of the telemetry, AMR/AMI (remote automatic meter reading) and detection of the water and energy losses, but at the same time, as a effective solution of a successful control and ensure the functioning of the water supply in all accident and emergency situations. In the new edition of his book: Securing Water and Wastewater Systems - Global Experiences, Robert M. Clark and Simon Hakim, Springer, New York 2013/2014, they are published this solution under the title: Integrated Control and Detection of Accidental Occurrences in Water Distribution Network, S.Macan, Coprogram doo, Zagreb, Croatia and E.Macan, Coprogram Inc, Oakland CA, USA.

His ability Coprogram Ltd. proven also by the: “copyright works of their associates in the field of planning and modeling of large water supply systems”. Coprogram Ltd. bases its solutions for integrated telemetry, AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) and water/energy leak/loss detection system on those 30-years of experience in the planning and modeling of such water systems. Because, the fact is that the control and operation of any system cannot be solved rationally if the knowledge of how to adapt this system does not exist at the same time. Just as the fact is that any system cannot be solved or adapted rationally if, at the same time no knowledge exists of how to operate with him.
