Integrated GPRS Telemetry, AMR and Water Leak Detection system |
![]() |
The introduction of GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) technology into mobile telephony a few years ago enabled packet data transmission (like to the Ethernet network) in a wireless GSM network environment. This resulted in the rapid abandonment of older modem and fixed telephony based systems, as well as the switching to and speedy progress of the GPRS technology in the modern telemetry systems: - without special permissions from authorities The rapid development of 3G-3.generation communications technology (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA) has also opened up new possibilities for the development of more efficient and cost-effective AMR/AMI (Automatic Meter Reading) systems and systems for monitoring of operational effects, consumption and water leaks in water supply network. This technology involves the acquisition of analogue and digital signals from various sensors, meters and counters, the wireless radio transmission of said signals (using a radio transmitter, repeater or booster) to a radio/GPRS concentrator, and the GPRS transmission of collected data to the operational center of an integrated telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leak detection system. The remote operational center of the telemetry, AMR/AMI and water leak detection real-time monitoring system integrate a number of essential components: the mathematical model of the measuring system (to estimate the measured values and identify the most sensitive representative sites/locations of measurement, reading or listening in the system), SCADA-Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (an OPC Server-Client system for effective access and visualization of the current data), corporate database (for archiving the historically registered data) and mathematical-graphical software (for statistical analysis, graphic presentation and continuous automatic publication of data and results on the internet). This allows for the information to be accessed in a directed and secure way at any time and from any location, from a computer with an internet access (which include phones, PDA and notebook and desktop computers). These web pages present a data web portal just like that, where clients can view data and results of the analysis and comparisons, of all the system involved. As a provider of this data web portal, Coprogram Ltd. is dedicated to offering total solutions to our clients in a wide area of applications, which includes: environment protection, water supply and water sewerage systems, agriculture, municipal infrastructure utilities and industrial sectors. We hope that this online data web portal is clear, useful, informative and easy to use. If you have any questions, please e-mail us. Click here to review and monitor any of the system included.
